Cooling-off cancellations (ECTA)

If you cancel an online order within the cooling-off period under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, payments received are refunded within 30 days of cancellation, as the Act requires. The Act allows only the direct cost of returning the goods to be charged to you.

Defective goods (CPA)

Where goods are defective and you choose a refund under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, the refund includes the reasonable cost of returning the goods.
