MB Fitness processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone number
• Delivery and billing address
• Order history, quotation requests and enquiries (including floor plans you upload)
• Your marketing and cookie choices, with the date and notice version
• If you accept analytics or marketing cookies: pages viewed, products viewed and added to cart, and purchases (order number and value — not your name or email)

Why we collect it

To process orders, arrange delivery, prepare quotations, respond to enquiries and provide after-sales support. With your consent, to send marketing emails and to measure and improve our website and advertising.

Cookies and tracking

• Essential (always on): your cart, comparison list, sign-in and checkout security.
• Analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how the site is used.
• Marketing (only if you accept): Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, and Google advertising signals, to measure the results of our ads.

These tools load only after you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the website footer; withdrawal takes effect immediately. Google and Meta may process data outside South Africa under their own privacy terms.

Direct marketing

We only send newsletters, product launch announcements, offers and checkout reminders if you tick the opt-in box. If you opt in at checkout and don't complete your order, we may keep your email and cart for up to 30 days to send one reminder. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can contact us; unsubscribing stops all marketing emails. Order and delivery messages are not marketing and continue while you have an active order.

How long we keep it

• Abandoned-checkout carts: up to 30 days, or until you buy or opt out
• Unsubscribed contacts: deleted within 90 days of opting out
• Consent records: 3 years, as proof of consent
• Orders and invoices: as required by tax and accounting law [DRAFT — period to confirm with accountant]

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
